Dive into the vibrant flavours of Korean street food enhanced with local ingredients. Enjoy your meal in the cosy restaurant or opt for takeaway for convenience. Situated on the first floor of a shop lot, the atmosphere is relaxed, and while the decor isn’t extravagant, the focus is on fresh, delicious Korean food that satisfies your cravings.

I visited with friends, and we had a fantastic time chatting and savouring the delicious food and drinks offered. The ingredients are sourced from local halal suppliers as well as imported from Korea, ensuring an authentic taste reminiscent of the original dishes. My friend tried the beef sundubu jigae—a comforting, spicy, and filling soft tofu stew that’s a favourite among diners, with a tuna version available as well!

I ordered the kimchi bulgogi beef bokkeumbap, a traditional Korean fried rice dish loaded with tender, marinated beef in a sweet and savoury sauce—absolutely delicious and filling! Tteokbokki, the chewy rice cakes cooked in a spicy broth, were perfectly made at Putri Kim. They included fish cakes, boiled eggs, and scallions, capturing the essence of Korean street food.

Bibimbap, a classic Korean rice bowl, was another highlight. Putri Kim’s version featured seasoned vegetables, marinated beef, a sunny-side-up egg, sesame seeds, and a sweet-spicy bibimbap sauce—simply heavenly! No Korean meal is complete without fried chicken, and Putri Kim’s crunchy fried chicken, coated in addictive sweet chilli and soy garlic sauces, is a must-try.

Japchae, colourful sweet potato noodles with a mix of vegetables and marinated beef was spot on and thoroughly enjoyed by all of us!

For dessert, I indulged in the hotteok cinnamon, a delightful treat with cinnamon sugar inside and a crunchy exterior. They even offer a chocolate marshmallow version!

The drink selection is tempting, featuring options like strawberry with popping jelly, iced matcha with strawberry, and classic green tea. Plus, some dishes like the Sundubu Jjigae and Bibimbap come with complimentary kimchi and green tea, making it a fulfilling meal.
